Holy Smokes on a Cracker!

Usually, I'm not up for remakes or reboots, unless the films really sucked in the first place so the producers are restarting the franchise with new casts, new directors and new/old storylines.

I read that Michael Bay is remaking the Nightmare on Elm Street a few months ago. The movie is about this scarred killer with knifes for fingers, traumatizing kids in their dreams as they sleep. It is now a cult horror classic and apparently Jackie Earle Haley, AKA Rorscharch from the Watchmen movie, is taking on the iconic role of the crazed murderer. I must say, I was skeptical until I saw the trailer.

It looks good enough to catch it in the cinemas. Oh yes, since Drag Me To Hell, I love watching only GOOD horror films in crowded places with the lights off and good surround sound system...
